Time to Trek Across Maine

Yes, we’ve been training together since the snow last fell.

June in Maine means many things, but for approximately 2,000 cyclists, it means a chance to get together, ride across our beautiful state, and raise money for the American Lung Association. If you can, please donate and help me as I roll along the backroads from Sunday River to Belfast.

Trek Across Maine – donation page.

As many people know, the Trek Across Maine is an amazing event that started more than 30 years ago and has blossomed into an annual event that in past few years has raised more thank $1 million annually for the American Lung Association.

I am proud to say, along with my fellow Saco River Cyclists (you can call us wild hogs), we have ridden in the event for at least a decade. I am not sure if or when we’ll ever stop, but this one weekend has become a significant event for this well-seasoned group.

This year, we plan to take a few pictures along the way and document our travels. So join us as we ride from Saco to Sunday River, Sunday River to Farmington, Farmington to Waterville, and finally on the last day, from Waterville to Belfast. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be an adventure.

See you on the roads.
