Welcome to the land of perpetual green fields, misty conditions, and driving on the ‘other’ side of the road. Like many people, my wife and I traveled with two close friends from Boston to Dublin (via Heathrow) to spend a week away from the stress and confusion that often fills our daily lives. For the next six days, as we wander through the countryside, we’ll try to find a connection every day to snowy and cold shores we just left. Here’s day one.
SACO – Spring is just around the corner. At least that’s what we tell ourselves during the middle of the winter (especially this week). For many people in and around the Saco-Biddeford area, spring is also the time for Mary’s Walk and the Kerrymen 5K. Both events take place the first Sunday after St. Patrick’s […]

And in other cases, I kept them for myself the way you sometimes hoard the last chocolate-chip cookie in the jar. (Don’t you do that?)
SACO – First the apology, then the promise. I haven’t written anywhere near as many blog entries as I wanted to or should have. For that I’m sorry. It’s hard to establish a readership if you don’t write consistently. I know that. Given that it’s almost time for the election, things will change. I’ve made […]
